Sint Maarten 10kW Split-Phase Off-Grid Solar System

When they first reached out to Sunchees for a consultation, we learned that their country—situated in the Caribbean region—suffers from an underdeveloped power grid. Furthermore, the frequent power outages and blackouts during hurricane season severely disrupt daily life, while local utility rates are high, causing electricity costs to rise year after year.

The client's household consists of four permanent residents and is equipped with a full suite of appliances—including air conditioning, a side-by-side refrigerator, a washing machine, an oven, and various smart home devices—resulting in a consistently high daily electricity load.

The client initiated their inquiry through our website. During the initial consultation phase, we calculated a suitable system configuration based on the load power data provided by the client. The final recommended solution was a 10kW off-grid split-phase solar system paired with a lithium battery, designed to meet the household's entire electricity demand.

This system features a wall-mounted design to maximize both indoor and outdoor space efficiency, and it supports split-phase power output to ensure compatibility with local 120V/240V appliance standards. The core objective of this solution is to eliminate reliance on the utility grid, enabling uninterrupted 24-hour off-grid power supply while simultaneously prioritizing both durability and cost-effectiveness.

Furthermore, the accompanying lithium battery features an integrated Battery Management System (BMS) that ensures a long cycle life and lower operating costs. This BMS communicates seamlessly with the inverter to provide comprehensive protection against overcharging, over-discharging, overheating, and short circuits, thereby enhancing the overall safety and longevity of the entire system. Our engineers also remained available online at all times to provide guidance, effectively alleviating the client's concerns regarding a lack of after-sales support or potential difficulties with maintenance.
We provided end-to-end support throughout the entire process—from the initial consultation, purchase decision, and shipment logistics through to the final installation and successful operation of the system. We provided timely progress updates at every stage and furnished the client with essential information regarding post-delivery handling, connection diagrams, and instructional videos; we also remained available for video calls whenever the client required assistance. Upon receiving the shipment, the client expressed great satisfaction with our packaging, noting that the products arrived in perfect, undamaged condition. The system has now been successfully installed and is currently operating smoothly.
